Education/Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Events, Communications, Public Relations or related field or relevant work experience
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in coordinating and/or planning field marketing events, happy hours, executive round tables, client or prospect events
Previous experience in vendor management, sales enablement and/or project management software.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:
- Certified Meeting Planner (CMP)
Skills/Abilities:
- 50% travel required
- Ability to communicate effectively and be a team player who works collaboratively with colleagues and management.
- Ability to be customer and prospect facing, representing Paycom.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
- Strong project, financial and time management skills are required
- Service-oriented attitude, highly organized, detail focused and results driven
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Accountable with the ability to handle multiple high priority projects simultaneously and effectively manage last-minute, urgent requests
- Must be able to manage external vendors always looking for maximum advantage and outcomes for Paycom
- Experience working in a dynamic environment and track record of successful execution of multiple events with opposing priorities
- Self-starter, able to work independently and with a team
- Splash, Cvent or other event registration software is a plus.
