The Field Marketing Lead will join a team dedicated to creating field marketing initiatives focused on client and prospect engagement. Paycom is searching for a talented candidate who’s motivated to organize outstanding and unforgettable events that support business needs. The Field Marketer should be well-organized and possess a sound knowledge of event management. Excellent communication and attention to detail skills are vital in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Directly work with regional sales team, client reps and sales ops and other customer facing team members to deliver multiple prospect and client facing events monthly.
  • Manage events and projects by working collaboratively across numerous departments within Paycom.
  • Manage end-to-end logistics including venue and vendor sourcing and management, travel bookings, onsite logistics, AV needs, registration, and material delivery for sales new hire trainings
  • Identify and oversee creative projects related to events serve as a liaison between stakeholders and other teams.
  • Manage several events at one time, including identifying requirements, meeting deadlines, facilitating meetings, and proactively mitigating potential risks.
  • Supervise onsite logistics as event lead, including being main point of welcome for customers and prospects, manager vendor schedules and sales team members, and providing leadership and direction to internal and external teams.
  • Effectively communicate project status and requirements via written and oral communication and via project management software, adhering to field marketing standards.
  • Interface with key stakeholders including executive sales leadership, sales reps, and marketing leadership to provide updates, manage changes, and ensure primary goals are met.
  • Create and maintain event registration pages.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and assist in tracking and applying field marketing budget.
  • Attend and staff and lead field marketing events.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Events, Communications, Public Relations or related field or relevant work experience

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in coordinating and/or planning field marketing events, happy hours, executive round tables, client or prospect events

Previous experience in vendor management, sales enablement and/or project management software.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification:

  • Certified Meeting Planner (CMP)

Skills/Abilities:

  • 50% travel required
  • Ability to communicate effectively and be a team player who works collaboratively with colleagues and management.
  • Ability to be customer and prospect facing, representing Paycom.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project, financial and time management skills are required
  • Service-oriented attitude, highly organized, detail focused and results driven
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Accountable with the ability to handle multiple high priority projects simultaneously and effectively manage last-minute, urgent requests
  • Must be able to manage external vendors always looking for maximum advantage and outcomes for Paycom
  • Experience working in a dynamic environment and track record of successful execution of multiple events with opposing priorities
  • Self-starter, able to work independently and with a team
  • Splash, Cvent or other event registration software is a plus.
